Dubai’s 5,000-seat duty-free tennis stadium has transformed into a showpiece venue for the six-day international team competition.

The teams participating in the DP World Padel Tennis Championship 2022 have arrived in the emirate, the organizing committee announced on Saturday.
The International Padel Federation’s flagship biennial tournament will take place from October 31 to November 5 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and organized by the UAE Padel Association (UAEPA) in association with the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism (DET).
The championship, which takes place in Dubai for the first time, offers a purse of 2 million Dhs.
The organizing committee also announced the completion of all preparations to host a world-class event, which will strengthen the UAE’s position.
The committee also confirmed that it had transformed the 5,000-seater Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium into a showpiece venue for the six-day international team competition.
The Dubai Padel World Championship will feature separate men’s and women’s categories, with 17 national teams ready to take part in each competition.
The brilliant list of top countries in the game includes Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Spain, and Uruguay .
The national teams qualified for the women’s competition are Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Paraguay, Spain , Uruguay and the United States.
