Paris [France], Jan 22 (ANI/Sputnik): German, Russian, Ukrainian and French political advisors will meet for the Normandy format talks to discuss the Ukraine crisis in Paris on Jan 25, with Russia represented by the head of state Deputy Kremlin Major Dmitry Kozak told Sputnik a source in the Russian presidential administration on Saturday.
“The Normandy format political advisers will hold an in-person meeting in Paris on January 25, the parties have reached a preliminary agreement on the January 6 date in Arkhangelskoye,” the source said.

German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Andrea Sasse said earlier that Berlin was looking to hold a Normandy-format meeting and was working on organizing the event, but did not give a date.
The Normandy format talks were established on June 6, 2014, when the leaders of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine met on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the landing of allied forces in Normandy. during WWII. The group was created to discuss ways to resolve the Donbass conflict in eastern Ukraine.
On Jan. 6, Kozak met for consultations with his French and German counterparts at Russia’s Arkhangelskoye Palace, during which the parties agreed on reviving the format after a long hiatus. (ANI/Sputnik)
