Team Yogi’s overseas tours will cover 26 cities ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investor Summit
The government of Uttar Pradesh has prepared for the overseas tour programs of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his ministerial colleagues ahead of the Uttar Pradesh-2023 Global Investor Summit to be held in Lucknow from February 10 to 12 next year with a goal of attracting ₹Investment of 10 lakh crores.
Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and other ministers will hold roadshows to nearly 26 cities in 20 countries. Tours will begin November 18 and continue through the third week of December.
A total of 10 delegations will take part in the exercise. They will visit the United States (New York, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles), the United Kingdom (London), the United Arab Emirates (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), the Netherlands (Eindhoven) and France (Paris).
Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver), Brazil (Rio De Janeiro), Mexico (Mexico City), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Germany (Munich) and Belgium (Brussels) are also among the destinations. Sweden (Stockholm), Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok), Australia (Sydney), Mauritius (Port Louis), South Africa ( Johannesburg) and Israel (Tel Aviv) are on the list as well.
Yogi Adityanath will hold roadshows in London, New York, Dallas, Chicago and San Francisco, people familiar with the development said. His tour dates are being finalized to ensure his availability for the election campaign in Gujarat.
The delegation led by the Prime Minister will focus on the sectors of information technology (IT) and electronics, agriculture and agri-food, defense and aerospace, equipment pharmaceutical and medical, energy, venture capital, retail, automotive components, energy, electronic vehicles and textile sectors. .
About 16 ministers will lead or accompany the various delegations. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, likely to be accompanied by MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan, will depart for Dubai and Abu Dhabi and stay there from December 1-5. The President of the Uttar Pradesh assembly, Satish Mahana, will lead a delegation to Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver (Canada) and Los Angeles (USA) from November 28 to December 5. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak’s delegation is likely to visit Mexico City (Mexico), Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) and Buenos Aires (Argentina) and will focus on food processing, chemicals, logistics, retail retail, paper, construction and infrastructure. Jal Shakti’s Minister, Swatantra Dev Singh, probably accompanied by Minister of Urban Development Arvind Kumar Sharma, will go on tour to Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and Sydney (Australia) on December 16.
