Bordeaux, September 20, 2022- Big ideas, in-depth dialogue, real inspiration and meaningful interactions – all of this can be found at VINITECH-SIFEL 2022, the global trade fair for the wine, fruit and vegetable production sectors, which will take place from November 29th to November 1st. December in Bordeaux, France. Driving force in these constantly evolving sectors since 1977, VINITECH-SIFEL remains faithful to its roots by bringing together the entire ecosystem for a truly inspiring dialogue. At a time when the sectors must adapt and evolve to resist climate change and the agro-ecological transition, VINITECH-SIFEL gives professionals the opportunity to learn, to equip themselves with new solutions and to integrate these new concepts in their daily activity. This 2022 edition will welcome 900 exhibitors (manufacturers and distributors), as well as a busy program of more than 70 conferences and forums.

VINITECH-SIFEL: A powerful national and international network of experts

VINITECH-SIFEL’s new signature, “LET’S SHARE INSPIRATION!” summarizes the commitment of leading speakers from all sectors of the industry: international organizations, professional organizations, defense or management organizations, professional and training organizations, technical and scientific institutes, universities and technical colleges, etc. Their contribution will ensure that inspiration comes inspiration will be truly meaningful. At the same time, VINITECH-SIFEL welcomes the strong involvement of regional economic players and public authorities, and will show how they support the sector.

900 manufacturers and distributors expected:

The VINITECH-SIFEL 2022 show will be structured around 4 central poles representing each stage of production – VINEYARDS AND ORCHARDS / CELLARS AND VINEYARDS / BOTTLING & PACKAGING / SERVICES – and 5 multi-sectoral routes: Organic, Fruits and vegetables, Spirits, Low Carbon (new) and Beer (new) – a new path to diversification.

Areas of innovation to support change:

VINITECH-SIFEL aims to enrich the visitor experience with spaces dedicated to innovation and change, such as a “Wine & Spirits Profiling” space for technical tastings, as well as themed areas that allow producers to discuss and respond to relevant industry issues, such as the “International Startup Village » (35 participants) and a brand new “Low Carbon Objective Zone » (exhibitions of equipment, conferences and feedback). The Ecophyto & Agroecology subjects will also have their own dedicated equipment display space and keynote speeches. The Outdoor demonstration and test area was also expanded.

Employment and Training Service

In collaboration with the ISVV (Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences), Vinitech training offers a training service for exhibitors and visitors structured in 2 modules: “Developing quality oenological analyzes for better decision-making” and “Olfactory defects in wine” (with tastings). Registration is mandatory for both sessions. Vitijob and the Sphere of Trades [Career Sphere] also collaborate to offer employment meetings, training and employment coaching sessions.

An expert and visionary look:

Beyond these essential meetings and business meetings, VINITECH-SIFEL aims to unite the national and international community, thanks to a rich program of more than 70 meetings and exchanges around the evolution of themes. such as: agroecology, carbon neutrality, packaging innovation and economic perspectives.

Some highlights include:

  • The INVENIO colloquium: “Agrivoltaic, Fruits and Vegetables and Viticulture”, address the theme of agrivoltaics as a strategy for decarbonization and energy self-sufficiency.
  • The “The vine in revolution: between tradition and innovation” symposium organized by the IFV and the ISVV on the potential of many forgotten and historical varieties, the registration of new varieties in AOC (VIFA) and rootstocks.
  • The Economic Symposium of Winein partnership with the INSEEC Wine Chair – two highlights of public dialogue between academic researchers and winegrowers, promoting constructive reflection on their vision of current economic trends: “The sector in 2025” and “Trade barriers”.
  • Continuation of the Vinipack symposium, dedicated to innovation in packaging, with this year’s theme “Choosing your packaging to boost your sales”
